Reviews and Ratings
I had a decent stay at this hotel. The rooms offered a lot of comfort and space, which made my time there relaxing. While the service was helpful most of the time, one frustrating experience with the elevator left me feeling a bit let down. The hotel's location is on the verge of becoming something great, with quaint restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. However, the dining options were quite pricey, which didn’t feel justified for what was offered.
I had a pleasant stay overall. The rooms were clean and spacious with a lot of storage, making it feel comforting, but the lack of little extras that I expected from a Marriott, like real cups and a kettle, was a bit of a letdown. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate early check-in and late check-out. The location is decent for events, but not as soundproof as I would have liked given the proximity to BC Place. Dining was somewhat inconvenient since I had to eat in my room due to noise and ordering through room service. Definitely good value for the price, though things could be improved here and there.
The hotel had stunning architecture and the in-house bar and restaurant were beautiful spots to unwind. While the rooms were comfortable, they didn't quite match the pictures, which was a letdown. The services provided were excellent, with attentive staff making the experience even better. There were a couple of drawbacks like the dining experience not living up to expectations for such a reputed brand. Overall, it was a good stay with some aspects that could be improved.
The hotel is conveniently located near BC Place, which is great for events. The rooms are lovely, but I missed some little touches that are typically expected from a Marriott, like real cups and a kettle. The staff was incredibly accommodating and even helped with restaurant reservations on busy evenings. However, I encountered issues with the elevator during my stay, which was a bit frustrating.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms are new and spacious with a fantastic shower, but I was disappointed by the lack of little amenities usually expected from a hotel in this range. The service was generally helpful, although I encountered a rude request for a bigger tip which left a sour note. Location-wise, it's ideal for events, but the noise from outside could be a nuisance if you're a light sleeper.
